dStyle Photography & Stacey Ensell took time out of their busy days to complete another photo shoot today for the latest handbags that arrived in the past couple of weeks.
This time Dave hired a studio to work from, to test out the environment and see if the place with went to will be worth using again. Below are some of the photos which have now been added to the website.
You can see more of the shoot on Dave’s facebook page.
Stace, graciously modeled for us again and pro’s go to her for completing her own hair and make-up
We also have make-up brushes in, so Dave used a mirror as the background to create this gorgeous effect.
I can’t wait for the next one we do. I really want to use bold make-up and clothing to accentuate the bags.

All Your Favorite Fragrances in one Compact Stylish Case.
Fragrances are personal, emotive and each has its own mood and aura. More often than not we have favouritefragrances for different occasions. The Travalo Carry3 carry case conveniently holds 3 Travalo fragrance bottles keeping them safe and ready for you to use no matter what the occasion.
The Case Designed For Your Travalo
The Travalo Carry3 case holds 3 bottles, so you can carry up to 3 different fragrances and it’s small enough to pop in your handbag, travel luggage or even in your pocket. The Carry3 has three individual separators specifically designed to hold your Travalo bottles in position and upright, ready for use (Travalo’s not included).
Feels Great, Looks Great, Combined with Functional Design
Quality & Design
The Travalo Carry3 has been crafted from a high grade black leather with a rich grained texture. The inner lining is adorned with a stylish ‘stripes’ design on an anti-scratch fabric
The ‘invisible’ magnetic clasp closure means no buttons, clips or parts that stick out and might catch. Carry 3 is totally smooth, so it will never catch on any clothing or bag lining, and never scratches your bottles. With the secure yet easy-open closure, the Carry3 can last a lifetime without suffering from ‘closure curl’
Inside the case, three individual elasticated holders allow quick bottle insertion and removal, and keep bottles upright for easy access, and preventing friction between bottles.
Perfect on Holiday
Take all 3 of your favourite fragrances in the case that’s compact enough to fit in your pocket. With each Travalo giving approximately 50 sprays you will have enough fragrance to last your entire holiday trip

Scammers don’t stop at anything to target victims, including adopting a personal touch. Watch out for scammers – whether you are answering a phone call, opening mail, online chatting with friends, shopping or even looking for love.
Don’t let scammers into your life – protect your identity. This week is National Consumer Fraud Week 2011, an initiative of the Australasian Consumer Fraud Taskforce, and it’s a great opportunity for us to stop and think how we can protect ourselves.

A 75-year-old woman in the United Kingdom showed amazing bravery when she used her handbag to beat six men involved in a smash-and-grab robbery at a Northamptonjewelry store.
As the jewelry store employees frantically try to close automatic shutters on the store windows, the robbers smash the storefront glass with sledgehammers while accomplices wait on motorcycles. As the men begin to grab jewelry and Rolex watches, the elderly woman runs into the picture and starts bashing the robbers on the head with her handbag.
Thanks to grandma, police were able to apprehend four of the suspects and are seeking the other two.
The woman does not want to be identified but told a UK news service that she was concerned that so many people were standing by and doing nothing, so she got involved.
Sunday the 20th Feb was David and my very first photo shoot as husband and wife. The shoot was for my business Ma’Ki Itemz and Dave was representing his business dStyle Photography.
I was really looking for a casual look and feel for this round. The very first photo shoot the bags appeared in was the “One Piece” album which was a studio – essentially nude session. It was very very different and artistic and i wanted to bring in fresh photos which we can use around the website and in advertising.
We were lucky enough to have with us Stacey Ensell to complete hair and make-up. In addition Stacey was one of our models along with Vanessa Marek, Honor Vincent, Aleisha Heiderich.
The girls all brought their favorite casual outfits along with a variety of shoes, jackets etc and Stacey kicked off her craft at 7.30am. Yes it was an early start for a sunday morning but we weren’t too sure what was going to happen with the weather and wanted to get into the city before it got too busy with sunday shoppers.
We managed to get underway at about 10.00am. With 2 large suitcases in toe to carry the bags, shoes and accessories we kicked off from Etro Cafe on King Street. Dave captured Stacey and Vanessa drinking coffee, relaxing and chatting. Next we moved through several back streets to get a real urban look.
Dave really wanted a shot incorporating the red wall at Wesley Arcade, which turned out stunning and Aleisha just shined.
Next we trundled across to central park where we out shoot was looked on by several construction workers, emo’s and couples enjoying the show. We caught some really lovely shots of Stacey and Honor on the park bench and a beautiful one of Vanessa lying on the grass with the parasol. I have to love the photographs that aren’t staged. Ness was actually trying to shield her hair from the wind, but it the look was to good for Dave to resist and he captured a real sultry image.
Next up were some leg shots right next to the park and finally we used the stairs at Australia Place.
Overall – the shoot took us about 3 hours once we got underway but i am delighted with the results. We have such a great range of faces, bodies, looks & locations.
Ness also completed a video to capture the magic.
I cannot thank everyone enough for the day and making it a success. All i can say is that i can’t wait to do our next one!!

Like to help? Here are just a few of the initiatives you can get involved in:
Donate your services: Some businesses have lost everything, and getting back on track must seem like a tremendous task to undertake alone. To combat the huge expense of hiring assistance Sarah Macdonald has set up a Facebook group of businesses prepared to offer support. So far there are more than 60 businesses involved, ranging from virtual assistants to financial advisors.
Donate or loan your time, equipment or premises: If you’ve got the time or tools to help others clean up or get back on their feet, you’ll find a register of those seeking assistance at FloodAid, along with requests for help with accommodation, building repairs, school supplies and transport. If you’ve got furniture or skills you’re prepared to donate, you can make it available on the same website.
Donate stuff: If you’re in Perth, trucks packed with donated goods are heading to Queensland, the Gascoyne River floods up near Carnarvon, and the bushfire-affected regions in Lake Clifton. Check collection point details here. Amongst other useful items, organisers are keen to receive donations of toiletries, nappies and baby formula, battery-operated radios and torches (and the batteries for them!), tarpaulins, tools, sleeping bags, camping beds and pillows. They have enough clothes for now, but shoes are very welcome.
Cook up a storm: Bake or deliver treats for the volunteers and emergency services workers, or sign up to cook meals for families who’ve lost their homes. Brisbanites can visit Baked Relief for more info.
